The Cebu Bloggers Society once again was invited by AboitizLand (Made for Life) team on a project tour last October 3, 2009. The tour was dubbed as: "Second Bite: AboitizLand Project Tour."
AboitizLand team and Cebu Bloggers met at Jolibee Hiway, Mandaue City around 8-9AM. We left the place on board with a miniairconditionedbus around 9.30AM. AboitizLand provided us snacks while we were on our way to Molave Higlands - our first destination.
The route : AboitizLand Project Tour
1. Molave Highlands is located in Lamac, Consolacion, Cebu, 1.3km from the main road. An ideal place to relax and unwind in nature’s arms. Here you can find indigenous tree sanctuary.
2. Mahogany Groove. A middle-market residential development of AboitizLand. A 5.8-hectare development, whose amenities include a clubhouse, streets lined with Mahogany trees, gazebos, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts and a commercial area. Further, it's the only village among the AboitizLand Project which celebreates fiesta in honor of St. Francis of Asisi.
3. Pristina North - where "First Bite: a Bloggers Urban Lifestyle Event " was held. Passing thru Pristina North, we headed to the North Town.
4. North Town is big on its Halloween festivities. Homeowners try to hang goriest decorations outside their residences and cap off the fun with a Trick or Treat event that gets bigger and better every year. This is the only village where you can see desperate house's design. Moving on, we crossed the 2nd Mandaue Mactan bridge and went to iMez.
5. iMez is the newest building in the Pueblo Verde commercial village located in Basak, Lapu-lapu City. iMez will soon to be the home of BPO community and several retail establishments.
After camwhorings at iMez, we took a break and ate our lunch at Orange Brutus! Btw, the weather wasn't fair at all, it drizzled then it rained for a few minutes. But that was fine, no harm done. After few chitchats with folks, we went to Aboitiz Sports field.
6. Aboitiz Sports field is located in M. Logarta Street, North Reclamation, Subangdaku, Mandaue City. The field where you can play not only Football, but also Baseball. Further, it serves as CFA's selection process for the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), which organizes national competitions.
7. Kishanta is located in Lagtang, Talisay City. It features top-of-the-line amenities such as the zen-inspired clubhouse, party hall, play court and children's playground, picnic area and a view deck with 360-degree panorama. Its design also includes an infinity pool, herbal garden, Zen Park, foot and jogging paths, meditation area and exercise stations and provisions for a convenience store and spa facilities.
8. The Persimmon is located in Gil Tudtud St., Brgy. Mabolo, Cebu City. Centrally located, highly accessible and within close proximity to malls, church, universities and public transportation.
What happened inside the mini airconditioned bus?
-Getting to know each other:
while we were on our way to Pristina North, we weren't able to pass the entrance directly. And it proves that the security in the place is really tight. While waiting, we did some sort of acquiantances - getting to know the AboitizLand team who were with us. (in no particular order.):
- Jed
- Lolai
- Iwi
- Ma-an
- Josephine
- Ebeb
(Apologies if I mispelled your nickname. Feel free to comment if it's incorrect. :) )
-Chitchats
-Q&A / Bring/Show me
On our way to Kishanta from Aboitiz Sports field, the AboitizLand team conducted a Question and Answer portion and bring/show me game. The prize? Director's chair. It was fun! And luckily I won! :)
Closing Remarks:
AboitizLand Made for Life team, asked negative/positive comments and suggestions, thoughts from us about their projects, including their main website. Afterwhich, prizes were given and then we took the final shots! - Family picture. Then they dropped us at Ayala Center Cebu.
